ANALISIS KELAYAKAN USAHA PEMBUATAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR DALAM MENINGKATKAN PRODUKTIVITAS TANAMAN SAYURAN UNTUK PENCEGAHAN STUNTING PADA BALITA

Liquid organic fertilizer is a solution resulting from the decomposition of organic materials derived from plant residues, animal and human wastes which contain more than one element. The correlation between the incidence of stunting and POC production activities is that stunting is a problem of malnutrition such as protein, carbohydrates and minerals in toddlers. Efforts that need to be made to meet these needs are special handling carried out on foods consumed by toddlers such as vegetables and fruits, so the service we are doing to the people of Alue Ambang Village, Tenom District, Aceh Jaya Regency is to increase the productivity of vegetable crops by carrying out manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from household waste to increase the availability of vegetables and fruits in Alue Ambang Village. This study aims to analyze the cost of producing liquid organic fertilizer in increasing the productivity of vegetable crops to overcome stunting prevention in toddlers. It is hoped that the Alue Ambang Village community will be able to use organic waste to turn it into compost to reduce the impact of environmental pollution so as to prevent stunting in toddlers. This research was conducted in Alue Ambang Village, Teunom District, Aceh Jaya Regency, using quantitative methods. There are two main problems in this study, namely, first, how much does it cost to produce liquid organic fertilizer using household waste. secondly, there are still many people in Alue Ambang Village who have not utilized organic waste to turn it into compost to overcome the impact of environmental pollution in order to reduce stunting in toddlers. The results of this study indicate that the total business cost of making liquid organic fertilizer (POC) is IDR 144,832/one time of production consisting of fixed costs of IDR 10,332 and variable costs of 134,500/one production. The total revenue from the production of 40 bottles of POC (500 ml volume) is IDR 200,000, so the total income earned is IDR 55,168. Based on the results of the analysis of the R/C ratio, a figure of Rp. 1.38 was obtained, which means that for every Rp. 1 used that is invested in a POC manufacturing business, an income of Rp. 1.38 is obtained, where this business is feasible to do
