PENGARUH INTERVENSI MEDIA POSTER COVID-19 TERHADAP PENINGKATANPERILAKU MAHASISWA DALAM PENCEGAHAN COVID-19 DI FAKULTAS KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT UNIVERSITAS TEUKU UMAR

Initial observations made by the author on 10 students, it was found that 4 students understood Covid-19 prevention but did not apply it, the next 4 people did not understand what Covid-19 was and how to prevent it, and 2 other people did not want to implement Covid-19 prevention and I think Covid-19 doesn't exist. Based on data from the West Aceh Health Office, in 2020 there were 75 confirmed cases of Covid-19. The general purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Covid-19 poster media intervention on improving student behavior in preventing Covid-19 at the Faculty of Public Health, Teuku Umar University. The population in this study were active students of the Faculty of Public Health from 2017 to 2019 totaling 328 people. Determination of the number of samples is carried out using the Slovin formula, obtained a sample of 77 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling method. The research methodology uses the Quantitative method. This type of research is a quasiexperimental with one group pretest-posttest design. Data analysis was carried out by means of univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Wilcoson test. The results showed that there was a significant effect of giving the Covid-19 poster media intervention on the behavior of respondents, obtained knowledge with a p-value (0.000), attitudes with a p-value (0.000), and actions with a pvalue (0.000) and this value is smaller than value > 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that the Covid-19 poster media is effective in improving student behavior in preventing Covid-19. It is hoped that further researchers can use this poster as a reference and reference in completing the final project with the same research topic
